Positive things have been happening this week and my potential new job is shaping up as reality. I need a change, I have been doing the same thing for a few years and the prospect of working closer to the investment banking business appeals to me. I am waiting for the head of that division to firm up a job specification. She liked my attempt and I am hoping that it all becomes "done deal" in the next week or so. Our department has shrunk to the point there were only two of us in last week. Admittedly there were two on holiday. I am a little concerned that should I go, my two colleagues have an uncertain future, but this is business.
I am out for a week - Paris awaits on Tuesday - and we have the Easter long weekend which I really enjoy. Hot Cross Buns!
